There’s a lot that could be said about 2020. It’s been a year unlike any other, presenting humanity with challenge after challenge and showing no sign of letting up. We don’t need to go into all of this year’s obstacles – that’s already been discussed enough.
What we’d like to focus on instead is two words: resiliency and adaptation.
Humans are nothing if not resilient. In the face of adversity, people pick themselves up from the ground, dust themselves off, and say “how can I keep going?” We’ve watched individuals do this, families do this, and small business owners do this all throughout 2020. The year has looked different than years in the past, but humans have retained their sense of hope and the drive to carry on.
This year has been difficult, but with each new difficulty comes an opportunity for us to learn and grow. An example? As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, people all across the globe have discovered more about certain vital necessities, including cleanliness; cleaning is not just about keeping a nice-looking home, but also about keeping your family safe and healthy. People have adapted to this knowledge: they’ve invested money and time in not just cleaning, but proper cleaning; they’ve turned handwashing from an afterthought to a priority; and they’ve become increasingly more aware of the products they use to clean.
Here at DAZZ, our mission is to help you protect all you love, and that mission has only strengthened this year. We want to give you and your loved ones the proper resources to adapt and thrive, even in the midst of a pandemic (especially in the midst of a pandemic). Those resources, of course, are safe and effective cleaning products.

This year, we were proud to offer a cleaning product that could fit into people’s budgets during this difficult economic time, as well as meet the increased demands for cleanliness.
Additionally, as personal hygiene and handwashing became crucial, we released a new DAZZ foaming hand soap that would effectively remove germs and contaminants.
And, since the climate crisis didn’t stop when the COVID-19 pandemic began, we’ve continued to ramp up our sustainability efforts in all stages of our supply chain. For instance, we are in the process of replacing our current tablet packets made from recyclable PET with new, biodegradable/compostable PLA packets. We’re eliminating PET plastic in our Starter Kits & Refill Packs and transitioning to biodegradable/compostable paper and cardboard.
But the work doesn’t stop when the year does. Looking towards 2021, DAZZ has a lot of plans and projects in store, including:
- launching multiple new product lines
- unveiling an updated packaging design for all of our products
- redesigning our website to reflect our new branding
- offering sustainable cleaning tools and supplies on our website
- continuing to improve our sustainability initiatives
- having a whole lot of fun!
We want to continue towards our goal of creating a cleaner, brighter future, and we want everyone to be a part of that journey. Each year is a new opportunity to make better choices for our families, our homes, and our planet, and we want to keep making those choice easier for you.
